Our story

A pure vegetarian kitchen with a family at its heart

Anantam is the Sanskrit word for the endless. Ours began with a simple idea: serve clean, delicious vegetarian food in a calm, beautiful room, and charge a fair price for it. Guests tell us about the paneer lababdar, the dal fry and the veg biryani, and about how quickly and politely they are looked after.

The same care runs through our banquet hall, where birthdays, engagements and weddings are hosted, and our home stay rooms, where families and travellers can rest close to Sarnath and the city. Jain food is available on request. Atithi Devo Bhava is simply how we work.
